Dr. Wendy WalshDR. WENDY WALSH 

Dr. Walsh is the Chief Learning Officer, at the Air Education and Training Command at Joint Base San Antonio-Randolph, Texas. She is responsible for providing leadership, support and technical direction to enable an Air Force culture of learning. Dr. Walsh connects learning professionals to collectively build, share, and sustain an accessible, meaningful continuum of learning for airman. Dr. Walsh has worked with academics, civil, and military government agencies, private industry and communities to create culturally relevant, effective educational experiences that are responsive to organizational needs. 

Ms. Ruth BusbyDR. RUTH BUSBY, ED.D. 

Dr. Busby has been an educator for more than 30 years. She has served in various capacities including teacher, professor, department chair, and executive director of academics and research. She holds a master’s degree in Educational Leadership and a doctorate in Curriculum and Instruction with an emphasis in Teaching and Learning.

MS. POTOULA CHRESOMALESMS. POTULA CHRESOMA

Ms. Chresomales is the SVP of Product Management at Skillsoft, a global corporate elearning company that serves 70% of the Fortune 1000. Potoula is responsible for product development and user experience design and launched the award-winning learning experience platform, Percipio. Potoula founded the Skillsoft Design Partner Program to collaborate with leading global companies to design Percipio to inspire, motivate, and engage learners. She drives rapid innovation through agile software development and applies the UX-driven process of prototype-test-iterate to build features that drive value and ease of use.

J. ERIC DIETZ, PHD PEDR. BROOK R. DICKISON

Dr. Dickison has extensive community service experiences at various levels of leadership at the university and within the community. Dr. Dickison is one of the spearheads of the collaboration effort to establish the Center for Teaching and Learning Excellence. She has presented research at various state and national conferences and has peer-reviewed journal article publications. She is also a member of the P4 partnership.

MR. JON FRENCHMR. JON FRENCH

Mr. French has been directly involved in the military and military education for 34 years. Serving in the Air Force for 20 years, he held a variety of operational flying, staff, and education assignments. Since retiring from the Air Force in 2007, he has worked as both a Course Director and Learning Architect (course design) in the eSchool, Air University’s single source for all officer Professional Military Education programs.   

MS. LESLEY GLENDENNINGMS. LESLEY H. GLENDENNING

Ms. Glendenning is a Training Specialist (Learning Coordinator/ Content Developer) at the Air Force Services Center in San Antonio, Texas. She is currently working towards her degree in Air Force Leadership and Management at Air University, Maxwell AFB, AL. She has served the military in a civilian position since 2007, spanning a wide variety of experiences. She specializes in training course management, data analytics and providing premium customer service to Airmen, Guardians and their families. 

DR. STEPHANIE HOSTETTERDR. STEPHANIE HOSTETTER

Dr. Hostetter specializes in the nexus of educational psychology, instructional design and technology, and project management. She has used these skills to design, develop, and implement educational experiences for a variety of settings, including middle schools, museums, and online graduate programs. She currently works as a Learning Architect for Air University's eSchool, helping to design and develop online courses for their officer PME programs.  

MR. MIKE HOWERMR. MIKE HOWER

Mr. Hower has helped hundreds of individuals, teams, and organizations increase their value proposition by finding and fixing problems, designing bespoke learning solutions, and coaching to improve performance. Retired from the Air Force in 2011, Mike spent the better part of his career supporting operations and training programs for Air Force Space Command. For the last six years he has served as Strategic Advisor and Learning Architect for officer PME programs at Air University.   

MS. GEORGIA ISERIMS. LANNA S. HUBBARD

Ms. Hubbard serves as the Dean of Instruction for Howard College in San Angelo and adjunct in the Psychology department as well as a Licensed Professional Counselor. She is the Chapter advisor for the Phi Theta Kappa Honor’s Society and current member of the THEBC Texas Transfer Advisory Committee. Prior to her position in instruction, Lanna worked as the Director of Student Services at Howard College.

MS. KELLY JEWELL-GLASSCOCKDR. KELLY JEWELL-GLASSCOCK

Dr. Jewell-Glasscock has worked in the field of higher education for over 12 years. She completed her doctoral studies at the University of Washington in Seattle, Washington. In her previous positions, she was a program coordinator and assistant professor. Dr. Jewell-Glasscock brings a variety of experiences and expertise around gaming-based learning, educational technology, and online learning.

JOSEPH F. PEKNY, PHDDR. HANAN KHALAD

Dr. Khaled is currently supervising the department of teaching basic and post basic Arabic language to military linguists at the Defense Language Institute Foreign Language Center. She held the positions of Senior Academic Specialist, Senior Faculty Development Specialist, Senior Diagnostic Assessment Specialist, Test Developer and Curriculum Developer. She is passionate about teacher professional development. She believes that the most powerful, durable, and effective agents of educational change in any professional fields are the teachers. 

MR. MARK ONISKMr. Mark Onisk

Since becoming Chief Content Officer in 2018, Mark has been responsible for leading all aspects of Skillsoft’s content catalogue, including strategic direction, roadmap and development. Mark previously served SVP of Skillsoft Books, successfully launching the company’s book summary product, increasing the audiobook collection by more than 60% and creating the largest collection of audiobooks in the corporate learning market. Prior to Skillsoft Books, Mark led Skillsoft’s strategic business development, where he worked on cross-functional projects and services teams to deliver integrated learning experiences with key clients. Mark became Skillsoft’s VP, Content Production after the company acquired Element K in 2011. His career with Element K spanned 15 years, where he was responsible for product strategy, content development, and operational execution.
 

Dr. Susan Slear, Ph.D.Dr. SUSAN SLEAR, PH.D.

Dr. Slear has been an educator for about 20 years. After 15 years in K-12 and moving to higher education, Dr. Slear remained focused on curriculum and instruction. She earned her master’s degree and doctorate in Educational Leadership from Auburn University. Her research interests include cohort development and online learning. 

DR. DONALD THARPDR. DONALD THARP

Dr. Tharp is the Director of Operations, 17th Training Support Squadron (TRSS) at Goodfellow AFB, TX. He began his USAF career as an F-4E Weapons System Officer later becoming an Assistant Professor at USAF Academy. Dr. Tharp’s final USAF job was the Air University Chief of Future Learning and Innovations. He was the Chief Information Technology Officer at Ashland University before transitioning back to the Air Force as a Civilian. 

MS. SUSAN WILLIAMSMS. SUSAN WILLIAMS

Ms. Williams has over 20 years experience in teaching and curriculum development at both military and university levels. Ms. Williams is one of the founding members of the Center for Teaching and Learning Excellence forum, and currently serves as the Director of Military and Veteran Affairs for Angelo State University. 

MS. CECILIA ZAKSMS. CECILIA ZAKS

Ms. Zaks is an instructional designer for the Air Forces Services Center. She has a wide variety of experiences in the Learning and Development world such as facilitating pop up meetings, classroom and virtual trainings, and speaking at conferences. She has an extensive background in leadership and corporate communications, and has brought this knowledge to her position as training coordinator and content development in the Air Force.
