July 18, 2023 Training Transformation: 982d Maintenance Squadron inactivated as 82d Training Support Squadron activated The 982d MXS was inactivated and the 82d TRSS was activated in a ceremony July 13, 2023. The organization change will streamline technical training efforts on Sheppard AFB.
